Dr. H. Sophia Sin (née: Hwa-Young Kim) is the Founder and President of Lynx Quest, LLC. She is an experienced and a proven leader in the field of energy economics with over 230years of demonstrated history working in conventional and new/renewable energy economics and policy areas. Dr. Sin’s areas of expertise include macro and microeconomics theory; energy economics; energy policy; new/renewable energy policy; energy and natural resource security and geopolitics; United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC); energy economic sustainability; conventional, new, and renewable energy technology development and diffusion; engineering process simulations; and a multitude of quantitative as well as qualitative methodologies.

Previously, Dr. Sin was the director of Energy and Environmental Management Consulting Division at Exergy Engineering, Inc., where she led and managed an extensive public and private sector funded research portfolio in the fields of energy, technology diffusion, and economic policy.
